Vehicle Detail
This is an amazing find for a collector, enthusiast, or just a guy who wants a hot rod really cheap. I has the original crager rims, original interior, original gauges, original paint (Gel Coat), less than 54k miles, runs and drives strong, can be a daily driver or a show piece. It has the back quarter panel where the guy behind me backed it into a tree then tried to patch it. I never fixed it because I didn't want to cover up the original paint. Collectors told me keeping it like it is was more valuable than painting it. It has always been garaged. I never got a new title on it because the DMV assigned a new VIN to it once the antique inspector looked at it. He had me bond it at it's estimated value of $6,000.00. Nobody has ever came across one of these kits that is as original as mine and never has been restored. I know I will hate loosing this car, but I have to do what is right by my son, I can buy me another sports car when he is older or I am out of college. Since there is no title, I can sell it as a project car on a Bill of Sale. You can get a title on it as a finished project once you go to put it in your name. It has tag and insurance on it, so I am legitimate on it, I just haven't pushed to get a title since I already had it registered and on the road by the time the old title was void. If I had the title the price would be a lot higher. I am starting the bidding at a 3rd of it's estimated value by the DMV antique inspector. I can get a copy of the bond paperwork to show it's value if needed, my insurance company has to keep a copy on record. These cars were designed to compete with the sports cars of the 60s, the Corvett, Camaro, and Mustang.
