Vehicle Detail
Here is a 1980 El Camino the guy i bought this from an older guy that says it was a Royal Knight Edition car said that it had a bird on the hood. The O D says 65890 for miles i dont' know if that is the real miles but body looks like it!! I am currently driving it aroudn to class and back home Has the Chevy 6 Liter motor. I have a Topper that goes with the car just don't have it on the car. Has the Original Rally Rims but were no very shinny guy sand blasted them and painted them the same color as the car. The guy did the body work and paint himself he did say he did some bondo/fiberglass work around the rear panel i say he did a fair job. The paint doesn't have a super shiney finish its more of a flat finish. My intentions with the car were to give it to my friend but he ended up not being the car he wanted or the year i should say he was looking for an older early 70's Camino. This car he had put brand new tires in front and the rears also Has decent tires. The Interior isn't in the greatest shape tears in the bench seat etc. has manual windows Different cd player. I do have access to a v 8 motor if wanted for this car. Car runs and drives nice has a 350 Turbo for the transmission all new shocks. The specs on the motor that could go with the car is a GM V8 number is m010203 I am not sure how to look this up to get the specs. The car is definitly original but would be a great restoration project!!! The motor does run good could use a tun up as far as timing does iddle a little faster than i would like the Carborator was just rebuilt. Does leak alittle oil around the valve covers but i have a new gasket set for the valve covers but just arn't installed so smells like oil burning but runs Really smooth. I thought i had this sold thats why i took it down but guy didn't want to travel for it!!!! The Old Speedway Mini bike doesn't go with the car sorry!!! It has a clean title. I will be posting more pictures of the inside and of the motor in upcoming days i am going to set the auction as a fixed price but don't hesitate to make OFFERS but will take offers on the car and sell it outright. thank you for looking Body looks decent but if you were going to REDO the inside that doesn't matter MAKE IT YOUR OWN!!! Any questions PLEASE ASK will try and answer the best i can I don't know much about cars but will be honest and will describe the best to my knowledge THIS DOES HAVE COLLECTOR PLATES CLEAN TITLEOn Oct-28-13 at 08:25:23 PDT, seller added the following information:I am posting addition pictures of the motor etc. The Radiator isn't the original radiator it is for the v 8 motor because the one that was in there leaked and was crap so he replaced it. Also The linkage that goes to the dash that tells you weather it is in drive park etc doesn't work but going to the transmission works awesome. The interior isn't the greatest needs to be redone. There are new gastkets for the valve covers that is what leaks the oil on this car still great start for a project. On Oct-28-13 at 10:53:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I did find out some more information on this car here is the trim tag etc that i finally found on this car. Here is the numbers finally found them 2D 76L 76U L A52 05 0199 Body By Fischer 80 04B 1AW80 K 13947 last number is either a 2 or an S or possibly a Z i am unsure. Any more questions the more i find out about this car i will keep updating thank you
