Hello Chevy Fans!! This is an auction for a 1979 Chevrolet Chevy Van G10. This van has been as reliable as the milkman's horse (do you remember those?) Engine: 250 or 4.1 litre Six cylinder engine Transmission: 3 Speed Manual It gets great fuel economy. Mechanically, this van is like new. I like my vehicles to be dependable and ready to work. Here is a list of items which have been serviced, replaced or rebuilt with quality GM parts. All work was done by a ASE Master Technician. No shortcuts! Carburetor rebuilt and NOS idle stop solenoid replaced. Alternator rebuilt Starter rebuilt New Ignition switch New Clutch Safety switch New Fuel Pump New Fuel Tank and Sending unit Transmission rebuilt. All bearings, synchronizers, gaskets, and seals replaced. Throw out bearing replaced. Filled with Mobil One Synthetic Gear oil - only the best! Driveshaft U joints replaced. Distributor rebuilt - including the pickup and ignition coils New NGK spark plugs, new spark plug wires New Thermostat with long life coolant New engine coolant hoses Front Brake calipers rebuilt, rotors cut, wheel bearings repacked, and new brake hoses Rear Brakes replaced and drums cut, all new hardware and brake hose Shock absorbers - all four replaced with Gabriel Low Pressure Gas Shocks Rear Differential serviced and refilled with Mobil One Synthetic Gear Oil. Only the best! Steering box rebuilt and new rag joint. New Brake Master Cylinder New exhaust system and muffler New AC Delco Battery Tires - Four BRAND NEW BF Goodrich Radial T/A less than 200 miles and micro finished balanced. Every lamp and bulb was replaced both inside and outside New wiper blades This little Chevy Van runs like a top and she is ready to go to work! I was planning on moving over 400 miles away and I needed this van to be reliable. There is some body rust and it is all cosmetic in nature. There are NO structural rust issues - the frame is solid. I am only selling this van because I need the space and she is not being used much. You will not find a better van which has been meticulously serviced and maintained.
