Hello and welcome to my auction, today you are bidding on a restored 1984 VW RABBIT WOLFSBURG edition rare original southern California car with ZERO rust to begin with, this particular car I had seen about 10 years ago but the original owner wasn't interested in selling it but a year ago he came and sold it to me finally, I tore the interior apart and had both the front and rear seats to match the original as close as possible, the head liner had to be redone as the old one was non existant, the engine was torn apart and completely rebuilt from top to bottom including brand new pistons and a brand new cylinder head made by TOP LINE versus a Chinese one, rebuilt rods, all new gaskets, new waterpump,new radiator and the list goes on I have spent over 3000 bucks on the motor alone have the receipts, the front and rear brakes along with all 4 tires are brand new, also has a brand new battery.The transmission was also rebuilt and all shifter bushings replaced.The car was repainted in the original MIDNIGHT BLUE, as the old paint was faded totally. The car shifts and drives smoothly thru all 5 gears, the interior is perfect as is the dash which is in very good condition, every thing works on the car as it should including the speedo/odometer, the car has factory AC but will need a recharge, the car also has a dealer installed pop up sun roof, the car has less than 200 miles since the rebuilt and will need to be broken in gently ,the last time the car was registered was in 1996 so it is not even in the dmv system, I can deliver the car for a small fee to southern California.If you have further questions I would be more than happy to answer them, I will be adding more pictures shortly.
