This has always been a Florida car. The frame shows no rust, other than light surface rust. It has never seen salt. It has been garage kept most of the time. I recently spent over $5000.00 restoring the car to top running condition, including: all four wheel alignment at the local Chevy dealer, new rear end grease, with GM anti - slip additive, fresh ATF & filter, new air filter, new oil & filter, completely rebuilt digital dash ( they ALWAYS go bad - and are VERY expensive ! ), spark plugs, radiator thermostat, upper & lower radiator hoses, throughly flushed block & radiator, and installed NEW anti - freeze, new intake manifold gaskets ( and all the MANY gaskets that go with it! ), 4 HD shock absorbers, brand new top, NEW brake master cylinder, locking gas cap, new rubbers on doors ( for the windows - they ALWAYS go bad ), 2 new keys ( I only got 2 - and they are expensive ! ) 2 new windshield wipers, and lots more that I forgot. It has red leather seats. They are slightly cracked from age, but not worn too bad, and not ripped or torn at all. Like ALL 1986 convertibles, this car has Aluminum heads. ( not many coupes had them in 1986 ) The car is fast ! The tires & brakes were replaced a few 1000 miles ago, and are all in decent condition. The car has a Bose sound system, and a CD player.
