ANOTHER FROM MY COLLECTION EXCEPTIONALLY NICE 67 NOVA LASER STRAIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL PICTURES http://s1118.photobucket.com/user/specialtycarz/slideshow/ This is a re-creation. Complete professional restoration finished earlier this year. Beautiful base clear paint. All panel fitment and gaps are exceptional. Not a rusty car. Very tight and solid. It is a former drag car like so many of these were. New 1/4 skins were installed not because of rust but from being cut (butchered) for huge slicks. Sub frame connectors are still on it as is the drive shaft loop bracket. It's powered by a fresh 1968 "CE" warranty replacement 327. Everything new: Decked .005, Bored .030, flattop forged pistons, resized "pink" rods, .010-.010 steel crank, Comp cam & lifters (480 lift 230 duration @.050), true roller timing chain, .080 wall push rods, long slot rockers, Mellings high pressure oil pump, align honed, rotating assembly balanced, 6AL CD box for today’s lame fuel, high rise intake and 600 Holley with electric choke, new wires, hoses, battery, mini starter, and full 3 inch exhaust front to rear. Heads are 1970 882 400's with 2.02 & 1.60 valves, Z/28 springs, 76 cc chambers, milled .010, port matched and polished. Engine runs 170-180 degrees, warm idle has 30 psi oil pressure and 60 psi running down the road. M-20 4 speed with new synchros and rebuilt linkage. It is a great shifting, dependable trans. New clutch assembly and flywheel. Balanced drive shaft with new ujoints. Complete new Fat Man front suspension with disc brakes and rack and pinion steering. New fuel and brake lines, new master cylinder, new rear brakes with all new hardware. New fuel tank and sender. New heater core and be cool aluminum radiator. Car starts, runs, and drives brand new. It goes down the road straight and true and stops the same way. Everything works as expected. All lights, signals, speedometer, fuel gauge, heater and blower, wipers, etc. It is bad fast. Either set of tires and wheels are available. Whichever you prefer. The rallys are 7 and 8 with 205-70x15 and huge 255-60x15. Stocks are 7 inch with 215-70x14 and 225-70x14. VIDEO LINK.... hear it run http://s1118.photobucket.com/user/specialtycarz/media/BILL-PC/Pictures/67%20nova/110_zpsddf39dd5.mp4.html WHY IS IT FOR SALE? I have been fortunate enough to have owned several hundred autos in my life. Many new ones for daily transportation but the majority have been classics which have been my true passion. I have always preferred 60's and 70's Chevrolet muscle cars but have owned all kinds. I have discovered other interests in my retirement years and have decided to slowly dissolve my collection. I know the difference between a pristine trailered show car and a bucket of tin and I have no use for either. If I could not drive and enjoy my cars they have no value to me and I do not own junk. I will always describe my cars honestly and disclose all known shortcomings if any. My descriptions are just that nothing more or less. The transmission has a slight growl when it's cold. It is not very loud and if the radio worked you would not hear it at all. The chrome and stainless is very nice except for the "C" shaped moldings at the end of the drip rail by the back window where the top meets the quarter. They are pitted. I have had them ordered forever. If and when I get them they will be included. On Oct-18-13 at 12:32:03 PDT, seller added the following information: RESERVE HAS BEEN MET, HIGH BID WINS
