1968 Pontiac Firebird 350 Bench Seat Coupe 1 Owner, sold on original title Power Windows Power Steering Power Brakes Very Solid trunk, rockers, frame rails, subframe, superstructure Completely Untouched BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL INTERIOR! RARE BENCH SEAT! INTERIOR LOOKS NEW! I purchased this vehicle from the original owner, a 89 year old man, who purchased the vehicle new in DeKalb, IL and drove it sparingly, in 1975 he gave the car to his son to drive back and forth to school, and it was last registered in 1977. The original owner swears by the mileage and candidly, from the lack of wear on any interior componets, and the original tires, it's completely believable. The Firebird was stored in a barn from 1975 until 2012. New plugs were installed, as well as wires, "original date coded Packard wires" were on the car. flushed the cooling system, trans fluid, installed a battery, and went through the brakes, and it is road worthy. The car needs to be restored. The original 350 runs well. The car actually runs and drives just fine and does not overheat. It stops great with new brake lines and shoes, drums, ect. The exhaust should be replaced as the transverse muffler is shot. The trunk floor and shock towers are super solid, the rockers are super solid. The car is going to need...quarter panels, fenders, and some floor pan work. However the structure is very nice. Subframe is excellent, Rear torque box area where front of leaf springs mount are very nice. Power windows work!... A/C system is going to need Freon lines at the very least. You can actually drive the car the way it is...but it should be properly restored. This is a real time piece.
