Vehicle Detail
This is a 1974 Plymouth Satellite 4 door. Believe its the last year for the Satellite 4 door. The only options it has are Power Steering, Automatic, 318 V8, and rear defrost (which is a fan under the package tray). It was in Baltimore Md when I found it. It has 59,251 original miles. It is in very nice shape for its age. There is NO rust in the floor, inner or outter rockers, lower doors, radiator support etc. It does have rust in the lower rear 1/4 panels with the right rear being the worst. The trunk has no holes that I see. It has been painted quite some time ago it looks and was a decent job at the time. It looks great from 25 feet away. It has many dings, scratches and some scrapes with the right side being the worst. It was certainly a city car. The engine was pulled and has a very mild cam, new timing chain, heads freshened and completely resealed, pained and detailed. New belts and hoses, starter and water pump, thermostat. It has all new factory style dual exhaust with stock type mufflers (very nicely done). The tires are like new. It has a new factory 2 barrel carburetor on it and runs great. It is not a race car but has decent power. It looks like a government car or unmarked police car but I have found no evidence to say it really was. It does have the rubber floor in it which is in excellent shape. It sound GREAT and would make an awesome driver. I have nearly $3000 in it so please don't ask me to give it away, I am looking to free up some garage space but will keep it if I can't get close to the 3K. The power steering pump leaks some but the steering works as it should. No other leaks that I am aware of. It does not have a posi rear I'm sorry to say. I have 2 used 15' police car steel wheels (with very used tires) that go with it. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere, just remember how old it is. I want to be very clear: It almost does not have a straight panel on it due to dings, dents and scratches and the lower 1/4 rust. There are many paint chips. I think the pictures make it look better than it is up close. It has filler in many areas from the repaint. If you were restoring it, the right fender would be a candidate for replacement due to prior and current damage and rust on the inside lip under the hood. Also not there is some damage and paint loss on the front edge of the left fender. This was not a garage queen! It is available for viewing, just call and we can set up a time. I have a lift and will be happy to put it up should you desire to see the underneath. Please ask questions before bidding. If you are the high bidder, you own it and must pay for it. If you do not have the $, please don't bid or bother to call and ask questions. High bidder is responsible for shipping and/or pick up. I will aid if transport is arranged but will not arrange transport, that is up to the buyer. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due within 24 hours of end of auction via Pay Pal. You will then have 7 days to complete payment as follows: The balance is due in CASH if you are picking it up personally, or a cashiers check if transport is arranged: in this case, vehicle will not be released until the check is cashed and determined to be good NO EXCEPTIONS! And No Funny Business or Scams. I don't mind keeping this car for a week or so while transport/pick up is being worked out but you must discuss this with me as I do not wish to store it for long. Note: this may be on Craigslist or listed locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction provided the reserve is not met.
