Vehicle Detail
We have a 1952 Dodge Wayfarer for sale, this car has been sitting untouched for atleast 6 years. The cars body is solid, very little rust, it does have some rust on the rocker panel where the chrome trim was and also in the rear around the bottom of the trunk where the base plate is for the bumper, other than that the body is very nice! The trunk has some surface rust but no holes. The inside is pretty nice, the seats are recovered and are period to the car, the box was in the trunk dated 1955, the carpet is new and there is new vinyl on all four door panels. There is a new floor pan on the driverside, with master cylinder cut out there. The other floor pan is solid. The frame on the car is good! There is some rust on the right side front body mount, but the body does not sag. The car was red, door jams are still red, the car was sprayed flat black and looks ok. All the chrome moldings come with the car, plus some. The glass is good on the car, windows roll up and down. Trunk opens and shuts, with spare tire still in it. The motor is the flathead 6, it will run, and has run, but needs a carb, the one on it was junk, set to long and was frozen. We did get it to fired and run off of a fuel canister. The points, condensor, rotor, and coil are brand new. The lights worked, guages worked (the ones we could test). We bleed the brakes on the car and did get pressure, the front left wheel cylinder is leaking tho. The transmission is a 3 speed fluid drive. So FOR SURE the car needs a carb, and a wheel cylinder. Now this isnt a perfect car, but it is perfect for a gasser project! Alittle nice in my mind for a rat rod, but to each their own! I will answer all questions, ask away. The payment for the car is due within 7 days of end of auction! A $500 deposit is due in 3 days via paypal, or if agreed upon a different way BEFORE sale, rest in cash on pick-up. BRING A TRAILER FOR PICK UP.
