Jon Beutler Jr 425-446-1895 (call, email, or text) click to enlarge Condition This gorgeous 914 has an undeniable draw to it- I once watched a young boy walk into our dimly lit shop, see this car in the dark, and he had to walk over and run his hand down the fenders of it! The Ravenna green paint job isn't the same as the factory Metallic Green (as seen under the front and rear hoods), but the paint job is overall in really nice shape. Just a few bubbles (see pictures), but no rust, its only in the paint. Body is very straight without rust. Battery tray has been removed, as the battery has been relocated to the rear for better weight distribution and room in the engine bay. Any rust from the previous tray was removed, new metal welded in place, and the full engine bay and undercarriage of the car has been coated in protective undercoating spray (similar to spray in truck bedliner material). This is also in place in the front and rear storage areas. It looks outstanding, and has superior durability to the factory paint- especially on these rust prone cars. Custom carpet panels and carpeted battery box finish off the storage trunks. Interior is in good condition overall. Seats are out of a similar vintage 911. Classic sport steering wheel has great feel, and the carpets are new. Has center console but please be aware the heat exchangers have been removed for weight and power savings, so this is not a winter car unless you are especially bundled up! Dash has a few cracks, as they all do. Windshield is brand new, and the car is equipped with a CD player. True mileage is unknown, but most everything on the car is like new anyhow! Driving this 914 is a pleasure, but not for the faint of heart! Dual Weber carburetors, performance cam, bigger pistons, and simply being a fresh motor make this thing scream! Heat exchangers have been removed and the exhaust is a true dual straight through design with dual resonators. Its not quiet. It sounds awesome! Shifting is typical for a 914, it shifts great except for downshifting into first gear, where you'll hear a "snick" or "crunch" if you aren't at a stop or matching revs properly. Valves just adjusted after breaking in the motor. We suggest adjusting them again in about 5000 miles. There is only 6k on the bottom end, and about 100 miles on the top end rebuild. Battery is new. Electronic ignition is new. Brakes are upgraded BMW 320i brakes and are completely redone and new. Targa top has fresh paint and is like new... Overall, an honest car in really good condition, ready to take to the track or on your favorite twisty road. I am sure there are many details we've missed, and as any restoration project I'm sure there is sorting that could be done on the car.
