Well, I lived out of this truck for almost a year, and now I'm looking to settle down and live in a real house, you know, grow up a little. Just as I was spiffing up this lovely girl to sell, she blew a head gasket, and I don't have the time to put in to get her running again. So this vehicle is definitely as-is. That said, it's a steal for the right person. Gypsy Truck is originally from 1980 and has 165.000 original miles on her. She had an engine rebuild about 5,000 miles ago and the battery and tires are less than a year old. The clutch was also worked on last year and is doing great. Gypsy is gorgeous; entirely hand-painted and one-of-a-kind. The camper was built by hand and sleeps one little person (I'm 5'2" and I fit great!) You can pull your kitchen stuff out on the back "porch" (tailgate) and use that as kitchen space. If you are really tall, you may have to modify her a bit as there is a shelving system that currently prevents the seats from going back. It would be easy to remove.There are lots of compartments for your stuff, both in the camper and the cab, and everything is covered in a lovely astro-turf finish to keep things as bright and lively inside as they are outside! And she was specifically built to get 25 MPG, which she does...WOW! The best thing about Gypsy Truck is driving her, because you will see everyone smiling and waving at you! This truck makes everyone happy! School children want you to honk, Datsun-fans go wild, and generally everyone is in a good mood when you pass by. Imagine how fun that is!
