Vehicle Detail
1976 Porsche 914 2.0. One owner from new. Last year of the 914. Rare metallic green paint. Excellent mechanical condition. Drives great. Over 100 service receipts from new. Major work includes transmission rebuild, clutch, exhaust. Drives great. All electrical works correctly. Solid body (trunks, floor, shock towers, doors, fenders, etc.) with minimal rust (rocker panel covers). Interior 100% original including working radio. Seats should be repaired/replaced. Overall a really nice one owner survivor with owners manual, 3 original keys and extensive documented history. With little effort this can be a great driver for another 37 years! Car is located west of Boston and can be seen by appointment. Will assist in arranging for shipping. Would deliver as a courtesy within 100 radius for BIN price. On Sep-29-13 at 18:47:41 PDT, seller added the following information: Would deliver as a courtesy within 100 mile radius for the original BIN price of $5,000. On Oct-01-13 at 19:11:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added 3 more pictures; the exhaust is fairly new; a close up of the rocker panel cover with the rust around the jack area (very common and not affecting the door panels); and the battery tray that has surface rust but is solid. Also, the picture of the engine is that of my 964. I need to post some correct pictures of the engine ASAP. On Oct-05-13 at 11:03:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked by several potential buyers to end the auction early, including some foreign buyers and those that viewed the car in person. In fairness to all, I will let the auction run it's course. My preference is sell the Porsche to an enthusiast in the US however if the buyer is from overseas I will assist in getting the car transported to the port. I have also added 2 engine pictures, taken 10/5/13.
