Up for auction is a true survivor barn find!!1959 GMC short bed fleet side truck with zero rot and documented 120k miles!!! This truck was found in the back of some property locally and was cared for like a baby. There is a log book of all gas fill ups and mileage put on the truck. Also in the log book are repairs that have been done to the truck for the last 30 years. Up for auction or purchase is a 1959 GMC short bed truck with a 270 inline 6 that's purrs like a kitten and it is connected to a sm420 4speed with no issues. We purchased this truck from the second owner (first owners daughter). This truck runs amazing down the road and fires up with no problems. This truck is like a time capsule and has not been cut up or modified. Drive it as is or buy it and make it into a hot rod. I have been driving this truck the last week or so and it never skips a beat. Truck has 4 wheel drum brakes that have been gone through and parts replaced as needed. Parts recently replaced include: wheel cylinders, drums, brake pads, master cylinder, and brake shoes. All lights and gauges work on the truck besides the speedo cable.
