2006 Ford Freestyle SEL AWD 6cyl, Automatic transmission, Runs and Drives. 82000 miles on the old engine and 61000 on the replacement engine and the reason for the engine replacement is because i bought the vehicle with a bad engine, and i have the pictures of when the engine was done. See, this is totally wrong because their is no way you can combine both mileage together, since the vehicle does not have 2 engines. 82000miles is from the old engine that comes with the vehicle which will shows/appear on the odometer as it is in the picture, and 61000miles on the replacement engine. i hope this explanation will help and if you are still not convince, you can go to any mechanic or any auto shop for more clarification which is of course free.
