I am selling my 97 TL 1000S. I am selling it due to the fact that I rarely get to ride it. I have several other sport bikes and unfortunately due to work, and other family obligations, I rarely get to ride any of them. I would rather sell the bike and have someone enjoy it then to have it sit in my garage on it’s battery tender not getting used. So that being said please don’t send me insulting offers on it as I do not need the money. The bike has just over 20 k miles on it and runs like a top. It has recent oil / coolant change and tires (front needs to be installed).- I can have the front tire installed before pickup or shipment if the buyer would like. It is turn key and go, all it needs is a rider. The bike is not perfect and has a few scratches, bumps (mainly on left fairing), and some paint fade consistent with that of a used sport bike. The seat would also have to be re-covered to be perfect. I have a removable padded gel seat cover that I use on it that will be included in the sale (this covers up the seat imperfections when installed on bike) I will also include a race paddock (rear spool stand) with the sale. I am the third owner and to my knowledge the bike has never been down. I can assist with shipping in any fashion, and I have shipped several motorcycles in the last few years. I will deliver up to a 250 mile radius for a dollar per loaded mile. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime due to the fact that the bike is listed locally.
