this is a garage find mustang sprint edition , i purchased vehicle 1 1/2 years ago sat in 3rd owners garage for 15 years , i have gotten the vehicle to run very well all mechnical work was done professionally ,no backyard mechanics. it runs and drives very good and has very good pickup and keeps up with todays cars very well , has factory power steering ,factory deluxe pony interior ,i have orig am radio that will be included . has rust to floor pans here and there ,some patch work was done along with a paint job probaly 20 yrs ago. i have orig dealer info and warranty card from orig owner , this car has been on long island ny all its life and now in bklyn ny. person i bought it from inherited it from his uncle who was the 2nd owner and he bought it from orig owner in 1970 , i recently called the orig owners who are in retirement home in nevada who remembered the car and described it with red and white top . this mustang can be driven for many years the way it Is or restore and drive . i constantly get many compliments about the car , but it would need a full body restoration to make it a show car . i absolutely love the car , but would like to sell it as i have a summer house that flood from hurricane sandy and would use the money toward rebuilding it. On Sep-22-13 at 12:40:31 PDT, seller added the following information: since i have had the mustang, i replaced the pwr strg pump and unit , water pump , alternator , battery, starter , voltage regulator, radiator and had the carburetor rebuild , even replaced the heater core for winter use , heater and defroster and all gauges work and interior courtesy lights are working. basically now a turn key car to enjoy. also had the trans rebuilt by [ Lee myles trans shop] this was all done over a year ago and i drive the mustang several time a week.On Sep-23-13 at 16:21:00 PDT, seller added the following information: mustang has 4 brand new uniroyal tires installed and a new back curtain window , veh has manual brakes but stops very good had 2 front wheel cylinders installed all when i first got the mustang , the color is original from the factory put was repainted many years ago. all numbers match trim and color and engine and trans
