Here's your chance to own a clean and RARE 2006 GMC SIERRA K3500 SLE 4x4. This truck was adult owned and very well maintained after. The truck features the 6.6L V8 FI Duramax Turbo DIESEL motor. The engine fires right up and it sounds solid and healthy with no smoke and no blow by. This truck is the right on the year. 06-07 are on of the best year's for the Duramax's. LBZ! Power output is 360 hp at 3,200 rpm and 650 lb-ft of torque, to move just about anything! Being as this is an 06 this truck also has the Allison 1000 Automatic transmission BUT it's got the new six-speed version of the transmissionwith an extra tube in valvebody that now activates a different combination of clutches to give the transmission an additional 0.61:1 Overdrive Sixth gear ratio. Basically, the extra gear means the engine speed will drop 250 rpm at 60 mph and around 300 rpm at 75 mph. During this year they also updated the truck with a stronger 310-mm torque converter, a new solenoid pack and additional C2 clutches were added to increase the transmission's torque capacity from 605 to 650 lb-ft of torque! Also new for 2006 is a new low-traction mode that comes standard on Duramax-Allison-equipped trucks. In this new mode, the driver can select Second gear with the manual toggle switch to tell the engine and transmission that you want it to automatically torque-manage the engine's power to limit tire slip on slippery road surfaces. The 4x4 on the truck engages in and out the way it should with zero issues. I've personally driven this truck and it drives super nice down the road. The ride is comfortable and smooth. The outside body of the truck is in great shape. The truck has an expensive matching cap that will keep your stuff dry. The truck has a long bed. All 4 tires are wearing evenly, the truck just had an alignment done recently and the tires have plenty of tread. The interior has the SLE trim which means the truck has all the options. The inside is in good condition as well. Over all this is a really nice well kept truck. These Single Wheel 3500 Duramax are hard to find and getting the right year is even harder!
