I purchased this vehicle in Minnesota in March of 2005. It had 34K miles on it. It has not missed a regular service. All repairs were completed by reputable mechanics. In other words it wasn't taken to a Porsche dealership for repairs. At approximately 95K the original engine was replaced with a 2001 engine. The newer engine had 35K miles on it when it was installed. The new engine install was confirmed good two separate shops. Long distance trips were the primary use for this vehicle. In 2012 the vehicle was hail damaged at the Dallas airport. I purchased used body panels to replace those that were damaged (the winner of the auction has the option to let me know if you are interested in them as they are not included in this auction). In 2013 the 2001 engine without warning developed a loud ticking noise that was diagnosed as no compression on two cylinders. In less than 2000 miles before the engine failure the clutch, water pump, fuel pump and alternator have been replaced. Shocks and brakes are relatively new. This vehicle is being sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. Winner of the auction will be supplied a bill of sale and the signed Florida title.
