Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1924 Ford Model T Touring 1924 Ford Model T touring, runs and drives, tires and tubes less then 10 miles on them, new (rebuilt) coils, muffler, bearing in front, manifold ,battery, hoses and a few other little odds and ends. (just spent $1600 at the local expert) . Runs on mag or coils.. paint 6-7/10 some flaking of the lacquer on hood. older restoration, top great seats nice... New not yet installed front floor boards included as well as an original 1924 Georgia tag that can be be displayed in lieu of the modern tags. Came out of an antique shop/museum where it was stored indoors. I am told the previous owner had the engine rebuilt when the car was restored in the 80's. After that it ran a few times a year in local events and parades. My mechanic said all looked great with the engine, good compression. starts on battery or hand crank (if you know how, it is not easy!). Here is what I know. I got this car 8 months ago and have driven it around the neighborhood 20-30 times, never ventured out on the main road. Wheels are not correct for this year I have been told. The rear are 3.5 and the front are 3. Tires and tubes are new. The other issue with the tires is 3 of the wheels have wooden rims and 1 has metal rim. The spokes in the metal rim are loose and should be replaced. I was planning on replacing them this winter but I need to expand the business and toys have to go. Also the generator seems to be on the fritz, either a loose connection or it is just going bad. (this is what the mechanic told me.) The parking brake does not hold. Some old rust under rear seat, stored indoors last 30 years so rust seems to be stable, see pics on photobucket link And although I am by no means an expert, there seems to be some evidence of bondo on top of the front fenders and under the curve of the back. Nothing looks terrible It was just something I noticed. If you require specific pics of the car, want to see it in person contact me through ebay. Other then that a seemingly good little car Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. $1000 deposit due at the end of the auction, remainder due in cash or certified funds on pickup / delivery. NO TITLE, Bill of sale only. to see more pics
