Vehicle Detail
What can I say? I really never thought I would sell her but the weather here in Washington doesn't allow for many sunny days especially in the coming winter months. I bought this car in California and brought it with me when we moved here. Since then it has been in our garage and only taken out twice. Once for a night out on the town where everyone we saw gave us the thumbs up, the other time we took it to a local show where it took third place in the original mustang category. Let me tell you now about the car. It is a factory A code. It is its factory colors of Tropical Turquoise with white standered interior. The car had been restored 10 years prior and the paint was showing its age with fading and chipping so we spent $5,000 on a fresh repaint about a year ago. The interior is in nice shape being only 10 years old. There is a nice console also that has one chip in the paint about the size of a dime. There were no rust issues to contend with as the car spent its life in San Jose. The car was under coated when the restoration took place and still looks nice however some of the rubber undercoating is chipping off and should be done again to retain its protection. During its restoration it was also appointed some nice attributes like the dual trumpet exhaust, fog lights, chrome luggage rack (removed for paint but comes with car). Whitewall tires are about 70% tread left on nice chrome spinners which are the original wheels. The trunk is nicely detailed and was also given a fresh paint. The top is white and also 10 years old. It goes up and down with ease and has the plastic back window that has a small dime size tear. It has a white boot that looks great. The engine and tranny are the original and both operate like they should and this car is a good driver. The body is extremely straight and the car has not seen any weather since painted. The car has a newer mustang radio so the dash has not been cut. The dash pad has some wrinkles and could use replacing. The carpet is good but faded in places from the sun. All the chrome is very nice. I'm trying to think of everything about the car and I'm sure I'm forgetting some things. I am adding all the pictures that eBay will allow and if you need additional pictures they can be provided. If you are looking for a nice A code convertible that is in really nice shape this may be the one! Please have any and all inspections done prior to bidding. I encourage using an inspection company that will thourouly inspect and evaluate the car for you. This cost only a couple hundred dollars. I want someone to be as thrilled with this car as I was! It is a gorgeous ride! Selling to fund our new 69 Mach Cobra Jet. Reserve is much lower than what I paid so bid to win, offers will be considered. Not a trailer queen just a very nice clean classic!
