RARE TRUCK NOTE: THE POST SAYS IT IS 1980 BUT IT IS A 1993, THIS IS BECAUSE EBAY DON´T ACCEPT THE MEXICAN VIN NUMBER, BECAUSE IS NOT REGISTER IN THE UNITED STATES, IF YOU WANT A REPORT, IN MEXICO WE DO HAVE, BUT ONLY TELLS YOU THE STOLEN HISTORY, NO THE RECORD OF DRIVING It is a Mexican 1993 Ford F150 XLT with a 3.8 liters V6 engine Manual Trans. 111,470 miles (179,395 kilometers)15x8 aluminum wheels 295 50 R15 tires The truck it is at the moment in San Luis Potosí México and I will delivery by my self on a closed trailer to your address. This kind of truck was sold in México by Ford on the years 93 and 94, because of the low sales they stop the production, but now are the most wanted trucks in México. What happen, in México the Ford Taurus get a bad reputation on the first years when they sold those cars in México, so, Ford México quit the sales on Taurus and that means we don´t see those cars any more on the streets, then Ford México start the production making some improvements to install the 3.8 liters V6 engines on Ford Pick Ups, but when the customers come by to any Ford dealer to buy a truck, the salesman offer this new kind of truck, but the people don´t forget and the customer change his mind when they found out it is the same engine on those bad Taurus, that´s why you don´t go on found to many trucks like this on the market, there´s some trucks on the market with this engine, but those are the custom version, those truck belongs for the packing and delivery companies and no body want those trucks. This truck belongs from my family, My dad buy at the dealer brand new on 1993 and when he dies on 1997, we change the holder on the title to my mom name, so, the title say to owners but still drive it the same person, my mom, she stop using it three years ago when she got his new car, that´s why it is on sale. What I replace, on 2009 a MAF sensor fail, and I don´t give a chance to fail again, because I replace MAF sensor, TPS sensor, IAC valve, EGR valve, EGR flow sensor, O2 sensor, Temp. sensor, Coolant temp sensor, Pick-up coil and Coil, and all this belongs brand new from the dealer, I just install a bran new motorcraft battery from the dealer, on 1998 the radio fail and I replace with a Kenwood Mp3 cd player, I do install a remanufactured alternator from the dealer 3 years ago, when the rear muffler appears a little hole in it 3 year ago, I change it but not with the original, I install a sport pipe to change the sound, I do have a video on you tube, so, you cant hear how it sound and how it runs the engine, here is the link: once you open the youtube page, paste this ( watch?v=ICRUv6V8w8c ) next to dot com, I put it like this because ebay don´t let you paste links here :) Details: Dent on the front end, needs paint, on the rear end a pole hit the rear door, so I replace with a used one that belong from my work truck, another F150, needs upholstery on the seat, needs ABS module, needs new tires, the carpet on the floor was covered all the time so that one still like a brand new, just a little color change by the sun near to the shift stick. The details can be fixed by the customer or we can make a deal to fixed here, I got a mechanic shop and I can send you pictures on the restore work I do to my customers, that means everything, upholstery, paint or mechanic, if you want to see how I work, check the pictures, I add some of what I´m doing it right now.For restored price you have to add $ 3,000 USD that includes: body work and paint, new upholstery on the seat, new tires same size and ABS module. About the plates, got all the mexican taxes paid, the buyer paid the tax to install plates in the US under his name, and some question the people ask me about that, there´s not a problem to install an american plates, it is just like any american car, you take the title to any DMV branch and pay the taxes to get you´re plates and you´re new tittle under your name, I all ready sold 4 cars in Chicago and they got his plates with no problems.
