Vehicle Detail

1967 Lincoln Continental Coupe - NO RESERVE!!! Time for this guy to go...I have had him for 5 years...This is a great driver, that cruises for days, but I have a new toy (and new baby) that has taken the garage and I cannot bear to let this sit in the driveway...so I am starting this out at an insanely low price as I simply cannot keep it...and after driving it all weekend, it honestly kills me to do it...but it needs a new home.. Cranberry Red Metallic, White Vinyl Top, Black Leather Seats 112,000 original miles Looks great, sounds great...gets loads of attention...paint looks good but could stand a good buff, chrome shows ok but is dull/pitted in spots...this car is classified as 'a driver', not a show car (could be if you wanted to)...it has its its dings, some chips, and a couple of rust bubbles as shown (no holes) and no body filler at all...still looks awesome and has never really bothered me.. i had always planned on slamming it on the ground with some airbags and making it a lowrider...but i just decided to leave it stock as it pretty much sits on the ground as it is....the original hubcaps come with the car as does the service manual and some other parts (new brake pads, etc)...all in all it is a bad ass ride, that you will look bad ass in... I guarantee that you will love this car and get attention everywhere you go!! it has a 462" with a C6 trans and here is the short list of all that was recently done in the past year (well over $8,000 with receipts!!): - rebuilt transmission with new torque converter - new timing chain set & gaskets - new front/rear main seals & oil pan gasket - new intake and exhaust manifold gaskets - new RH exhaust manifold - full new welded exhaust nose to tail - rebuilt carb - rebuilt p/s pump...if you know lincolns this is mounted on the crank and is a total pain in the ass... - rebuilt fuel pump - rebuilt distributor, new points, vac advance- new coil, plug wires, plugs- new belts, hoses, fan clutch - radiator removed, flushed, sealed, repainted - new master cyl - new rear axle bearings and seals - new steel and rubber brake lines - new steel fuel lines - new window motors - new shocks - new rear brake cyls and shoes - tires have about 1000 miles on them.. Things to mention:- passenger side window motor needs to be replaced (comes with new motor) - I am just lazy and so I pulled out the old motor and have been raising the window by hand- small crack in lower pass corner of windshield - still passes inspection- one small split on the drivers seat where you left shoulder would be (shown in photos)- dash is cracked in the center and the original owner 'sealed it'...- a/c needs a recharge (was converted to 134a) - i will give you 3 cans of 134a- small hole (2 inch) in drivers floor pan from a/c draining onto carpet - currently covered with metal plate and it is no issue so i never bothered to fix it- the car was originally white and repainted to cranberry red - they fully cut it in (see photos) and it was a factory lincoln color I will deliver within 30 miles of NYC but only with a $300 non-refundable deposit.... If you win and plan on shipping, please talk to your carrier ahead of time as this car is 19" feet long and might charge you extra... I have it listed locally so if it sells there I reserve the right to cancel the auction...
