For sale is an original 1965 factory sunroof Beetle that has its original paint. It is not too often that you find an early Beetle that has not been modified in some way or another. The original floors are in excellent shape without any rust whatsoever. The front and rear aprons are excellent without any indication of any damage or collision. Original working Blaupunkt radio with original blue tip antennae. Original 6 volt electronics. This car has recently had a tune up and valve adjustment and drives very well. You can cruise on the freeway at 65 without any issues. I have replaced the front windshield but all the other glass is factory original. I have replaced the running boards with correct models from Wolfsburg West. Drivers seat cover has tears. Headliner needs to be replaced. Carpet is showing wear and should be replaced. Roof has some scrapes and dents as shown in the photos. Sunroof needs cables. Manual from Merle Taylor Volkswagen + Volkswagen Distributor and Dealers booklet + Service booklet + Owners Manual. If you are looking for an very original beetle that has not been modified or rusty, this car should be considered. Mileage indicated is 57,155. Odometer is in working order.
