Up for sale is a 1996 Ford F-150 XLT 4x2. This truck has an extended cab and the 8' bed with dual fuel tanks. It is finished in a nice TAN. I bought this truck in February this year and need to sell because of needing funds to care for my mother. It has been in Alabama it's whole life, mostly highway driving. The body is free of any damage. All of the glass is intact and no cracks anywhere. The Steel wheels show well. The tires show good tread all around. Two extra used tires. Plus, a tool boxed. I bought four new shocks and two U joints to install. Just because, that’s what I normally do when buying a used vehicle. Plus, I bought a new key set because the one on the steering column is a little sticky. I have not had the time to install any of these items, because of care of my mother. I would rate the interior of this truck to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well and are not excessively worn. The dash and headliner show well. The seat is soft and comfortable...not worn out or ripped. The power windows and locks work properly. The stereo is original. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows cold air, too. Mechanically, this truck is in good running and driving condition. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and has no leaks. The engine keeps normal temperature and great oil pressure. The suspension feels good. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this truck with no issues. Out on the road, she drives well. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she cruises nice and straight with no complaints. I am second owner.
