Vehicle Detail
up for sale is my 1939 international harvester D2 ratrod truck. truck has cab from a harvester, 40's ford bed and fenders. sitting on a late 80's chevy S-10 frame. powered by a 350 chevy motor, and a auto trans. unknown miles. *new glass all around *new wire harness with all new wires, plenty of unesed fuses. harness from american auto wire. cig lighter under dash. kill switch behind tailgate. door ajar lights, courtesy light. blinker indicators. high beam/low beam *all new lights. except head lights. head lights are vintage high boy lights with new "guts" *new aluminum seats, seat pan, and seat belts. *new cooling system. fan, water pump, hoses, with custom radiator. *new brakes, rotors, calipers, pads, drums. (could use a brake booster.) *new guages. oil, temp, and volts ***ALL ABOVE WORK DONE BY DANIEL'S HOT RODS & BODY SHOP IN JARRETTSVILLE MARYLAND (various brackets, welding, fab work)*** *new dynamatt on the floor (i degreased the floor and put in the dynamatt) * truck last ran november 2012. truck has not started this season. probably a fuel issue??? * the lid on the fuel cell is hard to get on and off *could use an overflow tank for the coolent. (i was thinking a whiskey bottle would be cool) this truck is LOUD! especially because of the inside cab not being upholstered. thats why i put the dynamatt in, it helped a little. if you do not like attention, this truck is not for you. i get thumbs up and honks every time i drive it. maybe to the bar or home depot. i find myself skipping hotrod shows to go to BMW shows. this truck would be great for someone with a garage and likes to wrench a bit. a few small projects left on this truck (fuel cell, fuel lines, carb clean etc...)
