Vehicle Detail
Car is a rare authentic 1983 Chevy Camaro Z-28 305 V8 w/ Crossfire Fuel Injection, the glass T-tops and 4 speed automatic and it is numbers correct. The motor does start and the car was driven to my house when I bought it 6 months ago. It is solid car and while it has a lot of dents it has NO RUST. With a set of tires, some basic maintenance (brakes, shocks, ball joints, wipers, wiring etc..) It should be able to be made to run while you work on it. All the glass is in good shape. Overall it is a good start, and as parts are cheap and available would make a great Father & Son HS Car project. Motor is numbers matching to the car, has the correct Rare Z-28 Fiberglass Crossfire Induction hood and Z28 side rocker panels.Does need the typical to be replaced if your planning on restoring it: If buying to hot rod, you could buy this car and part out the fiberglass hood, induction setup, crossfire air cleaner, ( or the complete motor with the Crossfire) and make money on the deal.If buying for the motor to put into a corvette, you could also sell the T-tops, T-top support, Gauge Cluster, back glass, etc.. and get your motor and make money on the deal as well. I wouldn't want to see that done, as the car is restorable and Z-28s of this era that are surviving with their motor and hood, etc.. are getting rarer each passing day. I will accept out of state (and international) offers, and will help with transporting. I won't entertain hoaxes, attempted fraud, or nigerian princes. So NO I will not take a check for more than its worth and "give it to your guy", I won't take far more than the car is worth "for my time" either, thanks for asking.
