Available at auction is one beautifully kept 1978 Honda CB750k Those who know and ride Honda are already aware that this year and model is known to be one of the best designed 4 cylinders bikes of Honda's history. With a handsome classic motorcycle look, round single headlamp, superb rider position/balance point, amazing 45+ mpg (highway/city mix), 5 speed trans, 67hp, 125mph Top Speed!, 12.4 second quarter mile!, and 2 Valve Per cylinder SOHC, the '78 CB750k is a best in it's class Sport Touring bike for the record books! This CB750k motorcycle is in spectacular condition, it is a joy to ride, and turns heads wherever it goes! The bike is all original except for an aftermarket Honda four into one exhaust system which sports a mellow throaty tone and a nice bark with the crack of the throttle! I am selling this bike for a friend, the title is CLEAN! He has loved his time spent in ownership of this fine machine, but the time has come to move on. And he is happy enough with his "daily rider" (for now), so a new collector/appreciator/rider can take ownership and enjoy this bike upon the close the auction! Two things to note about the bike: The Chain is well within the wear limit but is older. The front brake (disc) "squeaks" when braking at times (the rotor should be cut or replaced to cure this). The brake works fine! There are no problems bringing this bike to a stop!!! The Reserve is set at a very reasonable price, it's not over blown or in dreamland. This is a hell of a bike for the money!
