As you can see by the pictures this is a standard, clean motorcycle that has not been modified. Exhaust pipes are clean, not rusted out, they do have the normal wear of a used motorcycle , one pipe has a little bit of an acid stain and the other has been scraped on the end, not very noticeable unless you are really looking closely. The rear turn signal has been scraped or shaved and I do have a replacement for that one and it is in better condition and it is included with the bike. It has the usual wear of an older motorcycle that has been ridden. But it has been well taken care of and stored for a long time. Items replaced was: a new battery, new fork gator boots,the petcock and the brakes have been rebuilt. All the electrics work-headlight, turn signals etc. Running condition: the bike does run well, has good power. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, see the video. It is cold-blooded to start. When I got it it was very hard starting and did not want to idle, the carburetors were cleaned by a bike mechanic, the starting improved and it idled better but the carbs were not rebuilt. One cylinder was a little low on compression, he said, but that it was getting better the more it was run. You don't notice it when riding it-it runs really strong. I have taken it on the freeway and it indicated 90 mph and it tracked fine. I do feel that it would benefit from the carbs being rebuilt with new kits instead of just a cleaning. All in all, as you can see, this is a very nice clean motorcycle but it is 42 years old and like anything that gets older in life, it can use a little more attention.
