1964 Impala SS 2 door hardtop, numbers matching 327/300 horsepower, 4 barrel, 2 speed automatic powerglide. This is a true unrestored SS hardtop. Nicely equipped with a very healthy 327/300 engine, strong shifting 2 speed powerglide. Just about every component is original. It has has just one repaint many years ago. The bottom of the trunk pan was replaced many years ago, and is still in good condtion. The vin number is neat, ending in 300003, just like the engine block (see pictures). The interior is all original, when starting, the "cold" light lights up as it should. The clock and fuel gauge doesn't work. The original interior just has a few splits on the dash board and a split on the drivers seat. Otherwise, its a nice driver quality interior. The chrome is dull here and there, and the grill is in great straight original condition. The body has some rust blisters here and there, evendent of some bondo. Still looks good for a car you can drive now and restore later. The frame body mount in the rear has deteriorated, and would need to be fixed. This part is available in Impala catalogs or on ebay. Two other minor spots on the floor have some rot, other than that it is very solid. Bid with confidence, this is a very nice original car, well worth a restoration. I have great documentation from the first owner. This is a true 2 owner car. It even has the original sticker on it from new at the dealership.
