Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This documented 1965 Mustang being a true GT is a very desirable car and they are getting harder to find every day. Only an estimated 2% of 1965 Mustang’s left the factory as a true GT. And this is one of them. NOT A CLONE OR TRIBUTE. Included in the pictures is the documentation: Original (not a photocopy) Window Sticker. Original owners manual with dealer name and VIN that match the window sticker. Car was restored ten years ago to the factory original condition. As you examine the car, there is no doubt that the car is a factory GT as the car has the following features: A Code engine designation in the VIN Rear exhaust hanger brackets under the rear seat Trumpet dual exhaust tips through the rear valance 16:1 Steering box 13/16 diameter sway bar Disc Brakes with correct “Disc Brakes” pedal Factory fog lights (tail lights come on when fog lights are turned on) Correct GT stripes, letters and badges As you read the window sticker, you can see that this GT was loaded out with options when it left the factory: Rally Pac, 289 4 BBL 225 hp, GT equipment, Cruise O Matic C4 automatic transmission, limited slip 3.00:1 rear end, Interior Décor Group (pony interior/woodgrain), and Visibility Group (Remote side mirror & day/nite rear view mirror). Classic Auto Air “Perfect Fit” air conditioning was added for comfort. Considered period correct and it blows cold air! Clear Tennessee title in my name. Factory Rangoon Red with Black Pony interior with Styled Steel Wheels. Car was shown locally and won a best of show. The GT runs and drives great. I drove it from Memphis to Jackson, MS when I was transferred, and it drove great with no issues, rattles or air whistles at 75 mph. Very tight car. The underside of the car is in excellent condition. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on this GT. The paint has a spot on the hood, small scratch on the rear drivers quarter panel and a few paint chips, washed the car and had a few drops of water on the floor mat, so I’m including the cowl cover. All paperwork including Original Window Sticker and Owners Manual are included with the sale of the GT for documentation and heritage purposes. Reserve price is non-disclosed and what I think is a fair and low reserve. Best of luck, I know you will enjoy the car and not have a queasy gut questioning the GT authenticity of this car, like some others I’ve seen on Ebay.
