This is a 1972 SS396 Camaro. By the trim tag this Camaro was Pewter Silver with black interior. Obviously it was painted in the 70's. The fender flares have been fiber glassed to the panels. This Camaro will need full restoration. All body panel have rust. Passenger door glass has been busted. There is no engine or transmission. Rear end appears to be the original. There is no doubt that this is an original big block SS Camaro. The "727 LS3" decodes "SS 396" and the "U" in the vin# is for the big block 402 engine. This Camaro is considered to be rare because of the labor strike in during this model year. Only 970 SS396 cars were built because of the strike.
