I am the 2nd owner of this car. The car is absolutely beautiful. It's the "Gentleman's muscle car. It runs and drives as nice as it looks. The car has had various upgrades and maintenance completed on it since I bought in December 2009. 98% of the work was performed by three of the some of the best shops on the East Coast including: Thornton Reproductions out of Quakertown, PA; C&L Automotive out of Sunderland, MD; and Maryland Performance Center out of Frederick, MD. - This was originally a 350 Rocket motor with 4 barrel, 3spdHurst, dual exhaust, with Strato bucket seats- Still have original Protecto Plate, window sticker, owner's manual, and other documentation- Installed rebuilt ‘69 455 Big Block – F Heads- Installed rebuilt 4spd Muncie M22 “Rock Crusher” with Hurst Shifter and new heavy duty clutch- Installed new drive shaft- Installed new MSD Distributor, MSD Digital6AL Ignition with Rev Limiter, and MSD Blaster 2 coil, High Performance- Installed new Edelbrock aluminum HR Intake-Installed new full set of long-pipe stainless steel headers- Installed new 2 ½” stainless steel dual exhaust- Installed new Quick Fuel HR-750 Carburetor with upgraded fuellines and pump- Installed reconditioned Posi Rear with Original 3.26 Gears- Installed new 4-core aluminum radiator, heavy duty fan, and heater core- Installed new fuel tank- Saddle Bronze exterior – Body on restoration including most panels with OEM parts. Restortation was completed in 1992 - LOOKS STUNNING- Installed new Saddle Bronze Legendary interior reupholstered, door panels, and and carpeted- Original dash was pulled and refinished with reconditioned "Tic-Toch" gauges- Installed new windshield and other glass- Installed all new cylinders, pump, and lines for convertible top- Replaced all rubber and seals throughout- Replaced entire suspension with new shocks, heavy-duty 442 springs, bushings, and sway bar- Installed new high-end audio system with cross-over tweeters and sub; in addition to new Viper Security System with tilt, etc., alarms- Had professional hand painted pin strip lines on body, hood, and trunk with all new bright work- Installed new 442 Grill- Installed full set of vintage '69 Hurst 442 15” chrome wheels and new Firestone tires- Installed new Optima yellow top battery- Installed OEM reconditioned alternator- Installed new mini high torque starter- Installed new secondary gauges- Installed reconditioned center console- AND MORE!!! I hate to sell this car. I love it; my wife loves it; the kids love it! It's been a lot of fun getting it all worked out as well as a wonderful family cruiser and running to an occasional car show. However, need to buy another family car since the children need a car to drive to high school, and we're also getting prepared to send first one off to college soon.
