I have a very nice 1973 CJ-5 4x4 for sale and the reserve is set at 5k. This classic CJ runs great. Jeep is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end early. The bed liner is awesome and keeps the Jeep protected. You can drive the Jeep on the highway, but I would only do about 60 MPH. Because it is a CJ-5 it can be a little darty, because of the short wheel base. I have done the following maintenance: new belts, new starter, new fuel pump, new Brad Penn oil, new fuel sending unit, new plugs, new wires, air filter, and fuel filter. Speedometer works but bounces a little, fuel gauge does not work (new sending unit), so I believe the gauge needs replaced. Temp gauge is not working; side marker lights are not functional. Rear tail lights, turn signals, and break lights are all functional. Open Colorado title in previous owner’s name. It has the following: ARB air lockers front and rear with ARB air compressor heavy duty driveshafts Exterior, interior, fender wells, and underbody have been sprayed with bed liner 4.56 gears (front and rear) Dana 30 front with disc brakes (out of a later model CJ-7), with differential guard (pulls to driver side a little when breaking) Dana 44 rear with differential guard New soft top (Best Top brand) last year (windows are clear and all removable with zippers, $800). Has a mark on the rear, when I rolled it up the snap marked the window. T-18 4 speed (these years came with a 3 speed so it has been converted) 360 V-8 with tons of torque and power. Previous owner stated it had recently been rebuilt, but did not have any paperwork. Based off the power, paint, etc… I believe it has been rebuilt. From the factory, this Jeep came with the 304 V-8 Dana 20 Transfer Case (4 Hi, 4 Low, and 2 Hi) Rock Sliders with steps Rear tire carrier/bumper Warn front bumper Good condition 33-12.5/15 Interco Trxus MT Brand new Pro Comp spare Black steel wheels T-case skid plate Front and rear diff guards New Brad Penn fluids throughout (diffs, tcase, tranny, engine oil) New spark plugs and wires Distributor HEI (Chevy) style Duel Exhaust and tube headers Electric Fan, factory fan is still hooked up as well. Skyjacker lift Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks Body and floor boards are clean Heater core is hooked up and the fan turns on, but like most is not the greatest heater Very clean body (had 4 places that had rust, I cut them out and welded replacement metal). Floor boards are in great shape and not rusted out. Full roll bar Motorcraft 2 barrel carb Things it needs: Front seats upholstery are cracked Has a power steering leak, fitting at pump is leaking. Small exhaust leak Driver head light is tweaked, need plastic clip for the adjuster Needs a new high beam switch for the head lights If you want the side markers to work, these will need to be wired in.
