Vehicle Detail
Rare 100% Original 1963 Corvair 95 Corvan. I am the Second owner with Original Paint and Miles! This has never turned over, holding strong as exactly 73318 Miles. Original engine runs great has been serviced by local Chevy mechanic. NO RUST! Power-glide transmission, differential, optional 102 HP Engine , Original Deluxe package interior. Vehicle was originally sold in Santa Rosa at Commanche Chevrolet, Stored in Napa Valley in a winery building for most of its life, till i purchased it 7 years ago. A beautiful vehicle for someone who can appreciate her. This isn't your every day Greenbrier or Corvan for that matter. This has the original special order package by the dealership for a camper conversion. Comes with working 3 burner Stove, Mini Fridge, and working sink. Has a 6 Foot long bed in the rear and plenty of cabinet space. The windows in the side doors are factory installed, They were a limited production option. This 1963 has the Custom Deluxe Equipment Option and the Custom Chrome option. Also has the optional 4-speed transmission. It is has the oil bath air cleaner in the right rear of the engine compartment was an option. Also added was the optional 102 HP Engine and is still running great! We Dont know of any other C&C camper that's survived, and ours appears special since instead of installing the left side windows they put more cabinets in their place. This Van has the more desirable mid-year floor-mounted shifter which is hooked to a rod that actually passes through a tube inside the gas tank. The earlier shifter went through an opening in the vertical panel under the front seat. Plus, the long shift tube under the van. Interesting Story comes along with this van. I have NEVER seen another camper conversion van like this before after all my research. I was Told that this was 1 of 5 Custom ordered Corvans with the Camper accessory package by the dealership. Comanche Chevrolet would special order a select few Corvans this way and had companies do custom conversions on them. This is a smart dealer's trick, to have something that no other dealers have! This Van was likely converted by C&C (Compact Camper) in Santa Clara and sold as a complete unit by Commanche Chevrolet in Santa Rosa. There is a Dent on the Drivers side Door by the Handle and on the lower part of the double door. Scratch on the Right rear panel also. Feel Free to Ask any questions! I also have a video of the van driving and running if interested. Vin Number: 3R125S110946 Vin Breakdown! 3 = 1963 R = R10 Corvair 95 series 125 = short for the 1205 Corvan model.
