I am listing and selling this car for a friend and it is under sad circumstances that the car is being sold (I will be involved with the sale of the car every step of the way). Please Read the below list of facts about this wonderful car, and Ask any and all questions you might have! This Camaro is really nice and quite clean. It is sold AS IS, and - Here are the facts of this car: It was original purchased but the husband of my friend. She was present at the time of purchase, and remembers the excitement they both had going and buying the car off the lot. The car was from the factory in SEAFROST GREEN (this is AN EXTREMELY RARE COLOR FOR THE 1968 MODEL YEAR, see scan of dealer papers). This Camaro came from the Norwood Ohio plant. The owner swears it only ever had the 350 badges on the side, and the car has a four leaf spring rear end (indicative of a 350 chassis). However in the early history of the car not but a year or two after they bought it her husband "scrapped the front passengers side a bit" in a tight parking spot. He took the car into a shop right away to have touch up done and they kept it about a week. It is unknown to the owner and myself what transpired in that week's time, as the car was her husbands to deal with. But the facts are the 350 badges are in the wrong spot and the car's engine is in fact a 1969 327ci. Although this car has had one loving family own it, it is NOT NUMBERS MATCHING! Other facts of note: The wheels are vintage Keystone Klassics. There is an aftermarket keyed alarm installed. It appears to have had more front end work done than just the "touch up" from the tight parking incident. The seats have been recovered and head rests added. The car has Very Solid Pans and is rust free from the rockers back (see photos and video of underside). However it does have rust in the rocker areas on both sides. These areas have been fiber-glassed over (home job). The Tires: Are old and dry, the passengers rear does not like to hold air. Before you take her out for fun in the sun she'll need new rubber at all corners. 2 sets of keys come with the car! The original set, and a set of OEM (New old stock) 1968 GM keys that are cut to match at my friends locksmith shop where he had the original blanks from '68 on his shelf!!! Please note: The Car will have a fresh battery installed post sale, the current battery is not wanting to hold a charge and has a dry cell. The Car also has a new coolant supply hose to the heater core! (This was not done at time of photos so - not shown in photos).
