Vehicle Detail

Beautiful "rare, collector-driveable" automobile, 1995 BMW 840ci (V8) with 5 speed automatic transmission, Jet Black with soft, black leather interior, only 55,000 miles, AC Schnitzer chrome wheels, no issues, MSRP when new of nearly $80,000, excellent condition, everything works, always garaged, well maintained, truly a rare, eye-catching BMW collector car for BMW fans, club members or owners. (Reason for considering this sale: this car has been driven only 800 miles in the past year and I have too many other vehicles to drive and maintain... 2009 Corvette ZR1, 2001 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo and 1991 BMW 850i!) The car has been thoroughly "gone through" from front to back by a team of certificated and highly experienced BMW service professionals at a local BMW shop that I have patronized for the past 14 years. As previously noted, I also own a 1991 BMW 850i (V12) with the 4 speed automatic transmission, Arctic White with creme leather interior... which, of course, is the car that launched the 8-series for BMW in the United States in 1991. All of the electronic components and displays are fully functional with bright, complete pixel displays... and the body is as you can see from the photos, nearly flawless (no dents, dings, scrapes, scuffs, road rash, etc.). The car has power windows and is a pillarless coupe (so that when all of the windows are rolled down there is NO "B" pillar behind the front doors and between the front and back areas). There is a power sunroof, foldable rear seat backs for extra carrying capacity (and a pass-through or "extension" area from the trunk on one side for oversized items such as skis, golf bags, etc.). The radio is an AM (6 channel) and FM stereo (12 channel) with cassette deck, and has a 6 disc CD cartridge player in the trunk (with full feature cabin controls for the driver or passenger). The vehicle has automatic stabilization control, heated seats, BMW theft security system, a built-in K-40 radar detection system (with the small, subtle red "warning" lights integrated into the face plate just below the speedometer and tachometer), AC Schnitzer chrome wheels in beautiful condition, BF Goodrich TA radials, butter soft unflawed, unworn black leather interior, 5 speed overdrive transmission that shifts smoothly and crisply and has been serviced, the V8 engine (282 horsepower) has been "opened up" and thoroughly inspected for valve clearance and operation and the engine "re-sealed" with new valve cover gaskets (NO leaks!) for both cylinder banks. Under the hood, the engine compartment and all accessories look virtually "brank new"!) It is a beautiful car, very unique, extremely well built and well maintained. If you see the car (in photos or in person) and know the quality, you'll definitely appreciate the value! It's a great vehicle, plain and simple!! If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to help you out. For those of you who are BMW fans, there will be a "gathering of 8s" at the 8-Fest in Garberville, CA this Fall... October 4-7, 2013. You can go to their website at 8-fest.org. Over 90 cars and 150 people have already registered. This is the "west coast" or "left coast" version of 8-series gatherings. Good fellowship... good food... good conversation (shop talk and bragging rights)... and wonderful road trips through Central California coastal and wine country. I hope you can make it.......................................... :-) On Jul-20-13 at 17:15:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Beautiful, "rare,, collector-driveable" automobile, 1995 BMW 840ci (V8) with 5 speed automatic transmission, Jet Black with soft, black leather interior, only 55,300 miles, AC Schnitzer chrome wheels, no issues, MSRP when new of nearly $80,000, excellent condition, everything works, always garaged, well maintained, truly a rare, eye-catching BMW collector car for BMW fans, club members or owners.
