Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my very well preserved Honda CB 650 single over head cam four cylinder, with just over 2,600 original miles. It's always been stored indoors. It runs and rides perfectly as you would expect a bike with this low mileage. I changed the oil, filters, brake fluid, and installed a new Interstate battery this week. The paint is like new as well as the chrome. The gauges, controls, and trim pieces are all still like new, with no fading or dulling. The seat is like new and flawless. The original tires still have plenty of tread and no signs of dry rot. Inside the tank is rust and varnish free, looks like virgin metal in there. The bike rides and handles very well and the motor is so smooth, tight and quiet. The transmission is precise and shifts ever so crisp. It's a very comfortable machine. The pictures do this bike no justice it looks much better in person. There are only a few very light scratches on the bike, and some minor oxidation on the engine covers that I've pictured. There is two very shallow dents on the right side of the tank near the seat that are only noticeable at an angle, To call them dents seems wrong as they are very shallow and unnoticeable. Perhaps "slight impressions" would be more suitable words to describe them. Mileage will also rise slightly as I still ride it occasionally. I am the third owner of this bike, the second owner bought it and never got it going after it sat in the original owners garage for many years. I currently have the bike registered in VT. The VT registration with a bill of sale is all that's needed to transfer ownership as they do not title bikes this age. The bike is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Also If you wish to view the bike prior to bidding you are more then welcome to. Send me a message and we can set up a time for you to check it out. The winning bidder must send a non refundable deposit of $300 at the end of the auction via Paypal and the remaining balance due upon pickup within 7 Days. I have no problem with the bike being shipped, but you must make all arrangements and I can be around for the pickup, the bike must be paid in full obviously. Thanks and good luck bidding
