1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Two Door Coupe ... My very first car when I was 16 ... I have had it these past 37 years ... This !955 Chevrolet Bel Air Two Door Coupe came from Florida ... Had one owner in Ohio where the "Historical" License Plates came from and remain as I used to show it in Parades and other assorted events ... It has been stored most of the time I have had it ... It carries a 1969, 327 CID Chevy Small Block backed by a Chevrolet Two Speed Powerglide from the same year ... I have put and endless amount of money and work in it over the past 37 years ... Replacing the Gas Tank, Exhaust System, Brakes and Brake Lines, Of course frequent oil changes and regular tune ups as well as transmission services on a regular basis ... The Interior was redone including headliner and covered in 1978 by a professionally covered "sure fit" Plastic Protector Custom Made to Fit Perfectly ... It has an 8 Track Player ... Power Antenna ... The arm rests are done and in the trunk but not attached ... The trunk is solid with a pro fitted high quality rubber mat ... The paint is good but needs to be touched up in places ... no dents ... some of the chrome has been replaced, purchased through 55-57 Chevrolet Classic Parts Dealers ... Most of all the Chrome is Original from 1955 and purchased through the dealerships and discontinued stock ... The Bird on the Hood is one from there ... Speedometer showing 50,060 Miles ... There are three added gauges, Oil, Water and Pressure ... It has Craiger Rims and Lettered Tires from the 1970's ... It has always been garaged or stored professionally in Warehouses ...
