This Hot Rod has been thoroughly gone through inside and out and top to bottom. Not one Square inch has been left untouched! The body has been pulled from the frame and both the body and the frame has been completely gone through. this 40' Coupe started out as an 95% rust free body that was in great condition for the age. this car still retains all of its original floors and body panels. (except running boards that came from Bob Drake.) This Hot Rod has right around 2,000 labor hours in the mild fabrication and body work. All the metal and bodywork was done by a professional. Not a production or collision shop hack job!! This car has been blocked twice and primed three times with PPG Epoxy and PPG 2k Primer. Also has had the floors Lizard Skinned Heat Shield. Only top of the line materials has been used. All the hard and dirty work has been already been done, this is the perfect starting point for the home builder, father / son project or anyone that wants to quickly build a 60k + Hot Rod. Set this car up the way you want it! All it is now is bolting in your own parts. you can finish this car with a Summit Catalog. Another $10-12k in parts and you can be driving down the road in a car thats worth $45k+, or with another $15-17k buying the best of everything you will have a car that's $60k+. This was my personal Hot Rod project that I was going to build complete and make a Show Car driver out of her but have since stumbled onto a car that I've been looking for many years. This is the absolute best builder car on all of eBay. Look at what some of the nicer '40 Ford coupes are going for (If Any!) on EBay. This is a $45-60k Hot Rod easy! It will be a BRAND NEW built hot rod when you're done.
