Here for your consideration is my 1967 Ford Fairlane 2 door hardtop. Ford sure knocked it out of the park with this design. Note the rare optional hood spears in black. They house turn signal indicators facing the driver. The car has had a recent repaint and the chrome, rechromed. It is laser straight down each side!!! The 289, 4bbl runs very smooth and has headers and a newer throaty dual exhaust. I have not done anything to the engine and it sounds pretty stock. It can sit for weeks and always starts instantly and runs flawlessly. The automatic is on the floor and has a B&M shifter. The center console is included with the car but is not installed. Prior to my owning it, the car was a Los Angeles resident and now is here in San Diego. Odometer has 49,500 miles showing. The tires are new with only a few hundred miles on them. I just had the disc brakes completely redone one month ago, with all new rotors, pads etc. 100% safety check and front end rebuilt and fresh alignment. The rear end is a 9" Ford. Glass is all good. This is a very fine running car with no mechanical issues. I do not believe this car has ever been in an accident of any kind. The body shows no evidence of even the most minor accident, it is very straight. When the painter took it down, he said the worst he could find were a couple minor door nicks. There is no radio, car has padded dash. The bucket seat interior is in pretty good condition, however my plan was to upgrade with new carpet and spiff it up. This car was being refurbished for me as a keeper, however I am retiring this year and my priorities have changed...:(
