Vehicle Detail
2005 BMW R1100S Boxercup Replica- No reserve auction This is a limited production version of the R1100S, 97HP, 72lb-ft torque- you can find complete specs online. About 37K miles which is not much for a BMW, all service up to date (36K mile service done- see below), almost new rear Metzeler M3 tire, and front is decent (also M3). Newer AGM battery, always on BMW maintainer. Just installed a stock R1100S air box and exhaust can and bike runs great. Starts easy, pulls hard, brakes quickly and smoothly, great steering and handling- an excellent sport touring bike. Overall very good condition with some minor cosmetic issues- primarily the original belly pan has a big gash in it- currently not mounted but can be included with sale if desired, also a small ding on the front fender. Reason for sale is that I have two bikes right now and just do not have enough time for both bikes- I have put less than 2K miles on the BMW over the past 2.5 years. Extras included in sale: used Two Bros exhaust and cat bypass pipe which came with the bike when I bought it, the stock higher mount seat which has some tears but is repairable, Clymer repair manual, oil filter tool, BMW battery maintainer, 14mm hex wrench for the rear transmission oil plug, some other stock bits+receipts and notes on the maintenance since I got it. 36K service included: replace polyrib belt, replace fuel filter, clean air filter, replace spark plugs (4 since dual spark), replace engine oil and filter, replace brake fluid, change transmission oil and oil in final drive unit, torque all bolts to spec, inspect everything. If you have any questions or would like pictures of anything let me know. FYI- bike is currently registered, inspected and the title is clear and I have it in hand. Added- someone asked about seat height which is a good question as the BCR is taller than the stock R1100S due to the different front suspension. With the standard R1100S seat installed and the bike straight up, it is about 33" from the ground to the lowest part of the seat, with the taller BCR seat it is a bit more than 34". I am 6' 2" and can get both feet comfortably flat with either seat but with the taller seat there is not a lot of leeway.
