Beautiful Geo Metro Convertible that gets a whopping 52-58 miles per gallon or more depending on the driver! Shiny 2013 Corvette "Velocity Yellow" paint. Recently installed a new convertible top. No rust under this car as you can see in the pictures. This car runs and drives very smooth and is a blast to drive with top down, or top up with the cool Air Condition running. This car has the more desirable 5-speed transmission, one of the easiest to operate on the market, smooth and reliable, and better on gas. 15" Tires are in great shape and won't need replacing for a long time. My wife and I got this car from the ederly man who bought it in 1993 for his wife to drive for work and had it all these years. She passed away, he parked it, drove it for a while, but a clogged egr caused a burnt valve and failed emissions and he parked it under his carport again. He got cancer and decided to sell it to us. My wife and I went through and restored most of the car to the fine condition it is in now. The engine has been recently gone through and has new valve stem seals, completely cleaned ports and egr passages, newer valves, new head bolts, all new gaskets and seals, new timing belt, new alternator belt, new air condition compressor belt. This car doesn't leak a drop, and doesn't burn any oil. Engine is tight, clean, and well-maintained. The elderly man we bought it from said the oil has always been changed and we only use synthetic Mobile 1 in it. Recently went through emissions testing and scored super low emissions, so it doesn't waste any gas. New tune up including plug wires, distributor cap, rotor button, and spark plugs. Recently put on new front brakes. Recent cooling system flush, new coolant. New wiper blades. Interior is in great shape, no tears or cracks in the dash or doors. Driver's side seat has the little edge bead coming off in one spot, but no tears on the seats anywhere else. The dash is still shiny and clean as the rest of the interior and all controls work. Plenty of trunk space for a little car and is very clean there too. The original spare tire and jack are unused and still in there. Covertible top works great and goes up and down easily (manual type, one simple lever operates it with ease.). The body has usual dings here and there, but new paint job makes it look sharp. We have the original owner's manual and binder still with the car. My wife and I love this car, hard to part with such gas savings and all the compliments we get while driving this car. We put $26 gas in it and drive almost 450 miles before another $26 fill up again. But we need funds to move with, so our precious "Nugget" gets a new happy owner. This is a superb car and will go up in value while saving you repair costs and gas at the same time. One of the best condition Metro"s I have come across. Happy Bidding!
