I purchased this Bus in 2006 or thereabouts with a rebuilt motor from a local auto Mechanic in Altadena CA. He rebuilt the motor and sold it to me. It was one of two buses I had and planned to install a 1972 Porsche 2.4L motor. Anyway seven years later and I have finally started the project. I have fitted the Porsche motor to the other van and this one is up for sale. The body is very nice except for the rear is dented under the left rear bumper blade and the front has a large primer area where a rust repair was performed. Both could use a good repair but you will need to do that work. After siting for years I flushed the fuel tank, cleaned the carb and installed a new battery. Starts up easy every time and seems to run great. I think I put all of 200 miles on this Bus since I purchased it so it still needs a break-in. The brakes appear OK but I think they should be cleaned and checked after sitting so long. I only drove it around the block a couple of times and would want a more thorough check-out before any real trips. The interior is very original and pretty much all there.
