Vehicle Detail
72 Honda CB175 K6. Not a museum piece. As can be seen in the photos, this bike has some non-original parts including handlebars, signal lights, battery, exhaust and air filters. It has new front and rear tires, as well as a new battery. Carbs were cleaned last year (summer 2012) and bike was stored through winter indoors and dry. The fuel tank was dented with what looked like impacts from a pellet gun, but has since been repaired and re-lined with POR-15 and painted matte. The seat has some rips at the edges, and the pan itself was rusted at the edges and an attempt has been made to reinforce where the vinyl connects with some new sheet metal and paint. Appears to have been repainted with spray paint from a can. What's New: Shorai Battery LFX09A2 Front and Rear Tires Handlebars and levers Points New Turn Signal lights Uni foam air filters New chain New Petcock Headlight brackets and reflectors additional photos at https://plus.google.com/photos/113546194893219871732/albums/5895432913266273105 video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jai563yhvfU The bike is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It is being sold as-is with no warranty. I have a valid NYS Transferrable Registration (Titles are not issued in NY for vehicles this old). I recommend that if you are going to own one of these bikes, you should not be adverse to performing some maintenance yourself. They are fairly simple and easy to work on compared to modern bikes, but adjustments need to be made routinely to keep it running well. I recommend the forums at www.hondatwins.net for plenty of technical discussions and tips and tricks.
