Vehicle Detail
Nice 1972 Ford Country Squire wagon. All original with only 55,143 miles. I am the second owner and bought it in 2011 with the original Pennsylvania title. It is a great runner with plenty of power, cold air and comfort. Everything works with the exception of the clock and the AM radio. This car cruises at 70-75 mph on the interstate. Engine is quiet, uses no oil and there are zero drips under the car. Engine compartment and the interior of the car look fantastic No rips or tears or fading in any of the seats including the rear compartment fold down seats No dash cracks Has original FORD floor mats front and back but color is worn in wear areas There are no parts or pieces missing. All light lenses, seat belt emblems and window winder knobs look great AC has been converted to use today's refrigerant R-134 Cooper tires are like new with only 3,000 miles Double acting tailgate works both directions Alternator and fan belt are new. The previous belts were the original Ford belts Side "wood-look" vinyl is in good condition with a few small nicks here and there. Color is very good. Over all the chrome is in good condition for a car of this age Power brakes and steering are excellent. Car stops in a straight line when braking hard Sheet metal is straight Has full size spare tire Wheel covers are in very good condition Vacuum lock for rear tailgate works. This is controlled by the driver's door lock Original paint is fading on the hood and top of car and the undercoat is showing Driver's side rear quarter panel has some rust hidden under a previous repair. There is also some rust at the very rear of the left and right passenger door sill Light side panel trim needs to have wood-look film replaced on the upper pieces Very rear driver's side trim has a small dent Rear door handle on driver's side needs spring replaced. It works but sounds loose when closing the door. This part is advertised on Ebay Front bumper has a fifty cent size piece of chrome plating flaked off near the passenger side headlight Carpeting is intactand area under mats looks new Headliner at very rear of car near dome light has a very small 1" cut Rear compartment deck needs paint or matching red carpet
