Vehicle Detail

LET ME BEGIN BY SAYING I OFFER ANY BUYER THE RIGHT TO INSPECT THE CAR OR ARRANGE TO HAVE THE CAR INSPECTED WITH THE OPTION TO CANCEL THE SALE. OF COURSE THE DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED IF THIS OPTION IS TAKEN. I CANNOT OFFER ANY WARRANTY OR GUARANTEES BUT I AM SUPREMELY CONFIDENT THAT ANY BUYER OR INSPECTOR WILL FIND THIS BMW TO BE A SOLID VALUE. The motor is smooth, no smoking, no lack of the performance expected from a BMW. The automatic transmission shifts without any hesitation. On the road at any speed...from 35 to 95 on the open California roads the car tracks straight and true. The leather interior is in excellent condition. I have looked at cars on dealer lots selling for the full value of $16,000 that were not really any better. Needless-to-say, the is no rust issues with this car. Furthermore, the paint has a great shine to it and there is none of the all too common California sun bleaching of the paint either. This is simply a great looking and very good running BMW X5. It is not "perfect" as those cars do exist but sell for $15,000 and more. The rear view camera tied into the in-dash DVD playing head unit is not coming through. With the mileage within 5000 miles of 100,000 miles a repetitive Service engine soon light comes on. However, the OBD 2 system shows no codes of any kind. I was told this is common to car companies as a means to get people into the dealership to try to sell any service a customer might be willing to pay for....from wiper blades, to cabin air filters, oil changes, etc, etc. In addition to the extensive list of BMW luxury appointments the car has authentic BMW 20" 7spoke alloys and Xl/speed rated tires. They are 275x40x20 in front and 345x35x20 in the rear. About 70-75% tread left too. The cost for these was over $4000! YOU WILL ALSO GET the quite pricey BMW upgraded running boards which make any X5 look better and are functional to have. YOU WILL ALSO ENJOY the top-of-line Pioneer DVD in dash audio/video system with dual high power amps expertly installed out of sight in the side panels and twin 10"subs in a custom enclosure. Minimum space is lost in order to gain a video and sound system vastly superior to a stock setup. These upgrades cost over $7000. WHETHER THE BUYER IS LOCAL OR OUT OF STATE I OFFER A GUARANTEED RIGHT OF INSPECTION. I GUARANTEE TO REFUND THE DEPOSIT THAT MAY HAVE BEEN MADE INTO PAY PAL IF UPON INSPECTION BY THE BUYER OR ANYONE ACTING ON BEHALF OF THE BUYER, THE CAR DOES NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS THE SALE CAN BE CANCELLED. THIS INSPECTION MUST TAKE PLACE WITHIN 7 DAYS OR THE BALANCE OF PAYMENT WILL BE DUE AND THE DEPOSIT WILL NO LONGER BE REFUNDABLE. I CANNOT BE ANY MORE FAIR. NOT MANY SELLERS ARE THIS CONFIDENT IN THEIR VEHICLE OR THIS FLEXIBLE. This car has current California registration and smog. I need to point out however that it has a California salvage title. BUT BEFORE ANYONE PANICS THEY SHOULD KNOW WHAT THAT SCARY SOUNDING SALVAGE TITLE REALLY MEANS. BEFORE YOU PANIC LEARN THE FACTS. Four years ago and 35,000 miles back this car was indeed hit. Oh my! Is the darn steering wheel going to come off in your hands or the motor fall out at the first bump? ABSOLUTELY NOT! The reality is before a car, that was hit, regardless of how minor or severely, can get a salvage title it must first be inspected by the state inspectors. If there is any questions about the safety, the braking systems and such it will not be granted a salvage title and will not be able to be sold. WELL, THIS CAR HAS PASSED NUMEROUS STATE SAFETY INSPECTIONS AND PASSED SMOG INSPECTIONS RIGHT UP TO NOW WHERE THE REGISTRATION AND SMOG ARE CURRENT. Furthermore, since all all panels, doors, windows, etc, etc, are aligned so nicely, and there are no rattles or squeaks, and the body and paint look so good, the quality of whatever repairs it needed were no doubt, had to be, done by very skilled technicians. Salvage titled cars can be disappointments. NOT because the steering wheels fall off or the motors fall from the frames. The problems with salvage titles lies with the quality and dedication of those people putting on the fenders and such. IF FIXED WELL, THERE IS NO REASON WHY A "SALVAGE TITLED" CAR IS ANY LESS WORTHY THAN ANY OTHER CAR. In fact, many a car, damaged pretty bad...but just under the monetary threshold insurance companies use to classify a car as repairable or not worth bothering with,(which begets a salvage title scenario) retain "Clear title" but are LESS roadworthy than a STATE INSPECTED SALVAGE TITLED CAR. Thus, a Salvage title does not mean you need to panic. ALL THIS FINE INFORMATION IS RIGHT OFF THE INTERNET SO DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. THE BOTTOM LINE IS I AM GOING TO SELL THIS CAR FOR WHAT CAR FAX SUGGESTS AND ADD IN THE $7000 IN UPGRADES MAKING THIS AN ABSOLUTE NO-BRAINER.
