This Listing is for a Lot of 5 Motorcycles in varying states of repair. All are Honda CX500 Custom, Standard and Deluxe Models. The Honda CX500 was an very unique bike known for its unusual design and indestructability. The Listing also includes tons of parts for these bikes and a digital copy of the shop manual. I have been collecting and building these bikes as a hobby and may have gone a bit over board. I am now ready to move on to other things. Most parts are interchangeable between models so there should be more than enough parts to build 3 running bikes plus many extras. Listed below are the bikes in detail. I obviously cannot completely describe 5 bike so please review the pics and feel free to ask questions 1978 Honda CX500 Standard, VIN# cx500-2005323 , Clear TN Title This bike is complete and runs well and can be ridden now. It has brand new tires front and back. It needs the turn signals and headlights installed to be street legal. These parts are included. It also will need front brake work including a front master cylinder ($20 on ebay) 1978 Honda CX500 Deluxe, VIN# CX500-2018894 , Clear TN Title This bike ran when I bought it 6 months ago but I found it has a bent frame so I have removed a few parts and have not started since. Motor moves freely and the bike still has the majority of parts intact including all electrical. Motor would be great on one of the good frames The frame is bent at the neck and may be fixable but I know nothing about frame straightening 1978 Honda CX500 Standard, VIN# CX500-2002556, Clear GA Title This bike is complete but has a locked up engine. It is pretty rusty. I would assume this bike would be used as a frame for one of the good engines 1979 Honda CX500 Custom, VIN# PC01-2000856, Clear KY Title This bike has been parted out so that it is just a good motor, transmission and frame. The motor is free and ran about a year go and has been stored since I have all the parts needed to re-assemble if desired. 1980 Honda CX500 Custom, VIN# PCO1-2106245 , No Title This bike is just an old engine, tranny and frame for parts. The motor is locked and frame damaged and untitled PartsThe included parts are too numerous to list but included are 6 tanks - 2 Deluxe in good shape, 2 Custom in good shape, 2 Deluxe in fair/poor shape,6 seats - 2 very good, 2 with slight tears, 2 poor7 CDI boxes - all working , 10 side covers - very good, 3 carbs sets - 2 good, 1 for parts,extra set of comstar wheels (hard to find 18" rear included),and fenders, pipes, starters, wiring harnesses, etc. I even have a a few fairings and luggage frames and crash/highway bars. The majority of the parts are in good usable condition but they may have cosmetic flaws like the normal rust and dents. A few parts are in poor condition but these are extras not needed to build running bikes. I cannot guarantee you will have every nut, bolt and switch you need but there is basically everything you need to build at least 3 running bikes. Plus lots of extras.So build yourself some bikes or just open an ebay store. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you need a detailed description or pics of specific parts.
