On Jun-03-13 at 08:02:58 PDT, seller added the following information: This auction is for a 1985 Honda Shadow VT500. We took this bike in trade, and due to its condition, we have decided to wholesale it on eBay with a start price of $1 and no reserve. That means that the high bidder at the end of the auction (regardless of the price) gets it! This vehicle does not pass New Hampshire State Inspection due to the rear brake pedal and throttle sticking, the fork seals and left rear shock leaking, the final drive leaking (cracked filler cap), the rear tire being below the NHSI limit of 2/32" depth, and the seat not being secure. There is rust on the inside of the tank, and the clutch cable is routed incorrectly and gets pinched when the bars are turned all the way to the right. The rear cylinder valve cover is seeping oil, and there is some oil present near the oil drain plug. The bike runs and shifts, but would benefit from a carb clean to make it run better. The bike has been repainted, and there are various imperfections in the finish. There is a wear mark and a small dent on top of the front fender, and a few small dings and scratches on the top of the tank. Please look carefully at all the pictures before bidding. This bike is being sold as-is! Door to door shipping is available for $599 east of the Mississippi, and $699 to the west of it.
