This is a very nice 1982 Goldwing in pretty good shape. Low mileage for the year. I bought this as a project bike, and was fixing it up. It has a new windsheild, water pump, timing belt, valves adjusted, thermostat, radiator cap, plugs, front brake pads, handle bar risers for riding comfort, ignition unit, and voltage regulator. The gauges work and so does the clock and radio.. It has some cosmetic rust, but nothing serious. There is a small crack in the corner of the trunk lid, which I tried to glue, but the lid works fine. The only thing I didn't get to yet is the carbs. It idles a little rough and either needs the carbs balanced or possibly rejetted. I was about to have them rebuilt, when I received a new motorcycle as a gift, so I am unloading the Goldwing. Even though the idle hiccups a little the bike runs strong and will cruise at highway speeds all day long. Virginia inspected till may 2014. I will bring the bike up to 50 miles to help a buyer. Just, please resist the urge to bid unless you are really going to buy it, I had two people fail to show up on another bike I tried to sell, and it's exasperating. The previous owner added foglights and air horns, I don't use them, but they worked the last time I tested them. It also has engine gaurds with forward foot pegs, and markland foot rest pads with heel-toe shifter.
