1973 Dodge Challenger. 318 automatic. Clean title. My son and I have owned this car for about 4 years. While my son was deployed overseas I began the process of bringing this car back to life as a surprise Christmas present when he came home in December. The car has a brand new gas tank, new gas lines, new fuel pump, new duel exhaust system, 8 track under dash tape player, new gauges for oil,water and amp meter and many other parts. The dash pad has two big cracks in the center. All of the lights work interior and exterior as does the windshield wipers and heater. The engine starts easily but has a slight miss which may be the timing is off a little.(battery does not come with car)The car has had some new front end parts replaced, ie. tie rods, idler arm, etc. The tires are like new mounted on 14"ralley wheels. It needs 15" tires and wheels which would enhance the appearance but we found these 14" tires and wheels at the swap meet during the Mopar Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. (needs minor body work and paint)This car has some minor rust issues. First of all, the left rear frame rail has minor rust which I had a local machine shop look at it and he said he could weld a piece in it easily and this would fix it. The inner fenders under the hood have minor rust through in some places. The floor pans are solid, the trunk is solid, the overall condition of the body is in pretty good shape as is the interior and glass.The vinyl top and headliner are very good.The seat seams are loose but intact but very nice.The doors open and close nice, no sag. I have provided 2 sets of pictures. One set is right after I finished the car and the other set is current. a couple of years after my son came home the car ended up being parked in the barn and has been there ever since. He began working 50-60 hours a week, bought a house and got busy with other things and the car remained in the barn. We drove the car out of the barn, he tried to clean it up by waxing it and as you can see in the 2nd set of photos, the wax didn't come off so the photos don't really do the car any justice. BONUS: Also comes with a fully built high performance 360 V8, very radical cam,built heads,crank etc.. (very serious engine) and 1 excellent high performance Torqueflight 727 transmission w/stall converter and 1 Torqueflight 727 unknown condition, also 1 cast iron 4 speed transmission with bell housing and pedal assembly. All of this and I am selling with no reserve. Please don't bid if you don't plan on buying. The brakes are soft and vehicle must be towed. You may pick up at my house or hire a vehicle shipper/carrier to have it delivered. I used a vehicle carrier in the past and it is surprisingly affordable.
